Youth Group Updates
Dear Congregants, Despite many difficult transitions, it’s been a wonderful year for our thriving youth groups thus far. Our USYers (7th-12th Graders) have catered two B’nai Mitzvah celebrations, with more to come throughout the year. They and our other groups, Machar (TK-2nd Graders) and Kadima (3rd-6th Graders) have enjoyed numerous fun and engaging programs, such as the back-to-school pool party, a puppy party, and jumping at Fly High! And, the school year is still young! We have lots more to come, so please keep an eye on your emails (please email me at emily@pjtc.net if you’re not getting Youth Department updates). I’d like to especially highlight an upcoming regional program coming up for our 6th-12th graders: USY in Wonderland, January 19-21 at Camp Ramah in Ojai. You can learn more and register here. Additionally, throughout the next few weeks during LBSRS, we will be hosting a rummage sale supporting youth programs (and helping clean our campus), with everything “pay what feels right” so bring some cash and come browse!
