FRIENDSHIPS ARE MADE HERE!
The Men’s Club is dedicated to supporting Jewish youth programs at PJTC and in our local community. In addition, we present social programs and events of interest to our members and the broader PJTC congregation. Our group is an affiliate organization within PJTC, and membership is open to everyone in our community.
We devote most of our time and resources to activities in these five areas:
1. In fulfilling our Mission Statement, Men’s Club financially supports the Louis B. Silver Religious School, B'nai Simcha Preschool, PJTC's United Synagogue Youth (USY) chapter, and Jewish Federation youth events. We also provide each of our B'nai Mitzvah with a beautiful Yad to encourage their continued study and reading of Torah.
2. Offering many social activities and events with the goals of building friendships, providing information of interest to our community, and supporting our program objectives.
3. Engaging in activities that further our following the Jewish tenets of g'milut hasadim (deeds of kindness) and tikkun olam (working to serve and improve our congregation, our local community and our world) in everything we do.
4. Supporting PJTC congregational events, including ushering during the High Holiday services, participating in PJTC campus beautification, and hosting onegs and kiddushes.
5. Growing our membership, which is open to anyone—man or woman—who wishes to aid us in achieving our goals and supporting our Jewish youth.
Among our NOTABLE EVENTS are:
- Annual Veterans Day event honoring the military veterans in our Jewish Community
- Annual Meeting featuring a guest speaker and installation of officers
- Annual Hy Vego Man of the Year Award Presentation and Dinner
- Sunday Brunches with special programs and speakers
- PJTC NFL Football Pool Fundraiser
- Pancake Breakfasts for students of the Louis B. Silver Religious School
- Sponsored booth at the Jewish Federation Food Fair
- And a whole lot more!

As our synagogue begins a new fiscal year, you will be hearing a lot about PJTC and its ancillary groups.
PJTC Men’s Club's mission is to sponsor and support activities of our local community youth, and to further their Jewish education. Each year we endeavor to entertain, enlighten, and strengthen our community through our stimulating social and cultural activities which were never more evident as during the pandemic.
While most of our programs are for educational and entertainment purposes, we do raise funds through dues, occasional fundraisers, and other donations. The money raised by PJTC Men’s Club goes toward our local Jewish youth. We always answer the calls from Rabbi Aimee to support religious school projects and from Emily Fischer to sponsor USY and Kadima programs. We give each B’nai Mitzvah a beautiful Yad on their special day. Men’s Club also supports our local Jewish Federation’s youth activities and B’nai Simcha pre-school. One of our more celebrated annual events is when we honor the brave men and women who have served in the armed forces including all Branches of the US, Israel, and our Allies. We invite the older LBSRS students to participate and listen to “living history.”
Membership dues, funds collected from our NFL football pool and March Madness college basketball bracketology, tributes and other donations to Men’s Club allow us to continue these philanthropic efforts. Our dues structure is very reasonable, and your membership will make you part of this wonderful mission to support our Jewish youth.
