HOME HOSPITALITY

PJTC members host potluck meals at their homes during Sukkot, Hanukkah, and the Counting of the Omer (the 7 weeks after Passover). Several are specifically for families with young children!

For more information, or to offer to host a dinner, contact Melissa Levy.

PJTC's Trip to Israel

We are headed to Israel for two weeks in June 2023, and we’ve got several intergenerational families joining us! Contact Cantor Ruth for more information.

JR. CONGREGATION/ON-SITE BABYSITTING

Sometimes making the most of a program means making sure the kids are supervised! For Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, PJTC offers Jr. Congregation for older youth and babysitting for little ones ages 2+. New this year, we are also offering morning babysitting on certain Jewish holidays when our on-site preschool is closed but PJTC is open for religious services (the first two days of Sukkot, Sh’mini Atzeret, Simchat Torah, and Shavuot). Free for PJTC members!

For more information, contact Rabbi Aimee Gerace.

PARENT/CAREGIVER & ME CLASSES

PJTC members are welcome to join PJTC member and Director of B’nai Simcha Community Preschool, Chana Blugrind, for Caregiver & Me and Parenting classes. Classes begin Summer 2022. Contact Chana Blugrind, MAEd, for more information.

Infant Classes
For our youngest community members and their caregivers. Pre-walkers are welcome at any age. Learn about the developmental stages in the first year of life, how we can build secure attachment, and best support our children’s overall development. Sing, play, and have a parenting discussion in every class.

Toddler Classes
For our community toddlers (12 months+ or have begun walking) and their caregivers. We continue exploring how to best support development, how to set clear expectations and boundaries with our children, and create an environment that will support and encourage overall development. Play, explore, sing, and have a parenting discussion in every class.

Sensory Classes
For toddlers ages 18 to 36 months and their caregivers. Explore various sensory activities, sing educational songs, and discuss the benefits of the activities we do.
