  • One-Time Donation - A one-time payment applied to the PJTC fund.
  • Recurring Donation - Multiple payments of the same amount made at intervals of your choice, for the duration of your choice, and applied to the PJTC fund.
  • Become a PJTC GuardianSelect a gift level and help cover the funds needed to keep our community vibrant. Each Guardian gift level comes with its own special Guardian perks.
  • Ohr Tamid SocietySupport PJTC in several simple and savvy planned giving ways without reducing your income or savings through retirement plans, stock/investment funds, savings bonds, life insurance and more.
  • Make A Tribute Have a lovely card, with no mention of your donation amount, sent to someone. (Please include “In memory/honor of…” and the name/address of recipient in the online donation form comment box.)
  • Yahrzeit PJTC maintains a beautiful memorial wall of plaques bearing the names of our deceased members or deceased loved ones of our members.  You may purchase a bronze plaque which will be illuminated each year on Yizkor and on the day or week of the deceased’s yahrzeit.
  • "Life Seats" in Galpert SanctuaryFor many people coming to services, having a permanent seat in Galpert Sanctuary provides for familiarity with those around you as well as having the perfect perspective of the bima for prayer and reflection. For $1,800 we will provide you with a permanent "Life Seat" for all Shabbat and holiday services, as well as for the High Holy Days (except second day Rosh Hashanah). A beautiful plaque will be placed on the seat as a reminder to others that the seat/s are yours.
  • Tree of Life InscriptionsThe sculpture on the 2nd floor overlooking the main lobby represents the Pasadena Jewish Temple and Center’s Tree of Life.  The Tree’s golden leaves become perpetual symbols of the joys of life. For $150, a golden leaf may be inscribed to highlight or commemorate your happy events or to honor living parents, family or friends.
  • Communal Tallit Tapestry Record your blessings in PJTCs special custom crafted tallit, creatively stitched by artist Trudie Strobel, that will wrap our members in the joy and warmth of shared tradition. Mark your place in our temple’s history by permanently inscribing your family’s meaningful events on this communal piece of art.

THE GUARDIANS

Dues do not come close to providing sufficient funds to keep PJTC a vibrant, welcoming Jewish home-away-from-home.  In order to maintain our dues at an affordable level, we encourage additional giving by those who are able.  We recognize these generous and committed donors through our Guardians program.  Please consider joining many of your fellow members at one of the following levels, which represents their gifts over and above their dues payments.  We are truly grateful for these vital additional commitments.

Donor ($1,000-1,499)
Friend ($1,500-1,999)
Patron ($2,000 -2,999)
Diplomat ($3,000 -5,499)
Benefactor ($5,500-9,999)
Shomrei Zahav ($10,000 +, including membership dues) Receive two complimentary tickets to PJTC fundraising events; reserved parking space at HH and events; two reserved HH seats.

We are in the process of putting together an updated list of benefits for our Guardians. All Guardians will be invited to special Guardians-only events, have their names listed on our website, and updated on a plaque in our main lobby. For more information or to become a Guardian, please contact the office at 626-798-1161 or info@pjtc.net.

2023-2024 PJTC Guardians

Thank you to the generous and committed PJTC Members who have become PJTC Guardians and help us continue to build our vibrant PJTC community. Without them, we could not maintain the high level of service and support for our members and the larger, local Jewish community that we strive for at PJTC. We are very grateful for their donations.

Stay tuned for list of Guardians!
