PJTC Sisterhood's Women of Valor

by Aty Rotter, President

In religious Jewish celebrations the text from Proverbs 31:10-31 is sung among other things: The Strong Woman, in Hebrew, Eshet Chayil, and in English, Woman of Valor. We are so thankful for the women who chose to be Women of Valor this year. They are the financial backbone of our organization and the financial commitment they made allows Sisterhood to provide programming and service to the PJTC community and beyond. Without their dedication we might not be able to do all that we do. A strong woman is worth more that jewels. She undertakes what needs to be done, she honors G-d. She takes care of her family and shows concern for others and the world. She is connected with Israel, the land and it's people.  A Woman of Valor is blessed in her home, synagogue and community.

These are the strong women who make a difference to our Sisterhood: Marcia Alper, Ginny Blitz, Karen Brown, Anna Bruck, Bonnie Buratti, Judy Callahan, Nancy Carlton, Nancy Copeland, Maureen Gelberg, Debbie Guest, Sue Hogan, Francine Katz, Andrea Kelly, Ellen Knell, Kathy Kobayashi, Ricki Lane, Faye Langholz, Barbara Levinson, Karen Linstone, Linda Mazur, Susan McCoin, Stacy Miller, Jenny Owen, Jan Pais, Aty Rotter, Lee Segal, Jakki Sencer, Annette Sharfstein, Elizabeth Short, Alice Shulman, Tammy Silver, Debby Singer, Bobbi Sloan, Gail Snyder, Edie Taylor, Laura Van Dellen, Louise Wannier and Valerie Weiss. Thank you for your support!
