Since our last Flame column, the Men’s Club has been focused on painting several LBSRS classrooms and providing our second annual March Madness NCAA Basketball Pool and of course our Hebrews and Buargers on the 3^rd. Wednesday of each month.

In early March we painted 3 of the LBSRS classrooms that were in the most need of it in preparation for the flooring replacement that is scheduled for the end of March. On March 19^th. we painted a classroom in the Weizemann building that is earmarked for use as an exercise, yoga, meditation and wellness room.

Also as I write this, we are halfway through the 2023 NCAA Basketball championship playoff and March Madness Basketball Pool. Our total participation has increased this year and we have had several unexpected upsets and this has created a wide open contest to see who has picked the most winning teams this year. Winners will be announced after the championship game. Stay tuned.

Lastly, we continue to enjoy an increase in attendance at our monthly Hebrews and Bugers at T. Boyles each third Monday of every month. This activity has proven to be a great way for new Temple members and Men’s Club members to get to meet each other and build relationships. Everyone is welcome to join us and enjoy the companionship, a few drinks and good food.
