YOU ARE MY VILLAGE

Dear PJTC Family,

I'm back! It's wonderful to see all of your faces again after my maternity leave. Thank you so much for all the love and support you showed to me and my family. If you go to the Member Recognition section of the Flame, you'll see a lengthy list of those who sent my family meals and/or helped us prepare for the kiddush luncheon in honor of our newest little one. And, that doesn't even include the countless more who sent cards/emails of well wishes and other gifts. You are my village. This is one of the many reasons to be part of a synagogue. We show up for each other. Thank you!

By the time you read this, Purim celebrations may be well underway. We're thrilled to be able to go back to the traditional indoor Purim Carnival for kids and young families this year on Sunday March 5, followed by an adult Megillah reading, some nosh, and a special Purim-themed adult education session on Monday evening March 6. We have two interim Rabbi candidates coming over Shabbat—the first the weekend of March 11, the second the weekend of March 18. I know Kitah Dalet would be happy to see you in person as they lead services on Friday March 10.

April will also be a busy month! Look for notices coming soon about Passover at PJTC. And, be sure to save the evening of April 23 for USY's next Pop Up Restaurant, this time with a Star Wars theme! They are calling it "Episode IV: A Jew Hope." Invitations will be sent by email soon!

As I get back in the "swing of things" at the office after my leave, please do not hesitate to contact me. I want to hear from you!

Warmly,
Melissa Levy
