It is Time to Join or Renew Your Annual Sisterhood Membership for 2022-23!

By this time, all PJTC women have received an invitation in the mail to join or renew their annual Sisterhood membership for 2022-23. If you haven’t already done so, take the time now to join or renew your annual Sisterhood membership.  If ever there was a time that taught us that we are stronger together than apart, this has been that time. Sisterhood is a social, philanthropic and service organization within the Pasadena Jewish Temple and Center community, offering a variety of activities where you will meet other Jewish women who share your interests and values. Together we laugh, we learn, we observe Shabbat and other holidays, and we support each other in times of joy and sorrow.  We work together, and with an eye to the future, we grow as individuals and as a kehilla.

There are two membership options:

1. Standard annual membership at $36.00
2. Woman of Valor membership at $500.00

A generous contribution of $500.00 to our 2022-23 membership program entitles you to special benefits befitting a Woman of Valor.

• A one-third page size ad in Sisterhood's High Holy Days Greeting Book;
• A challah and bag of home-made rugelach at Rosh Hashanah;
• Complimentary attendance at all Sisterhood events, including cooking classes, Torah Fund Chay’ay Olam celebration, Women’s Seder, Sisterhood installation and any other Sisterhood programs requiring a fee;
• Congregation wide greetings sent through the Happy Purim program;
• Recognition in Sisterhood hosted event printed materials, unless you indicate a preference not to be listed;
• Five tribute notes through the Lena Berman Memorial Fund which will be acknowledged in the monthly Flame;
• A special event designed just for our Women of Valor;
• Membership in the international umbrella organization - Women's League of Conservative Judaism.

Whether you come to every meeting and event, or only a few, your membership dues help us accomplish our goals and support of the synagogue and local Jewish community. Take the time now to join or renew your annual Sisterhood membership.
