As this is my initial column for the Flame as President of the Men’s Club, I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Men’s Club Board for electing me as President for the next two years. I will dedicate myself to try to continue the amazing work my predecessors have accomplished to get the Men’s Club to be a relevant and thriving organization at PJTC and to continue to pursue our mission to support our PJTC and broader community youth groups.

I hope to continue to have the Men’s Club provide community building events that serve to benefit our Jewish youth at PJTC and the other youth groups we support along with providing our members with opportunities to participate in memorable activities that promote a strong feeling of camaraderie. To this end we will be bringing back some Men’s Club events that had to be cancelled due to Covid restrictions over the past two years such as our Back to School pancake breakfasts for the Louis B. Silver Religious School students and parents along with some new events that we have been planning to introduce since before Covid delayed them.

We plan to have a very active year and we invite anyone who is interested in supporting our mission to join us and experience the pleasure of knowing they are helping our youth and having a good time doing it.
