B'nai Mitzvah - March 2022
March will be a special month for the families and friends of Marcus Goldman and Sam Bruck, who will become B'nai Mitzvah. Mazel tov! We look forward to celebrating with you.
Marcus Goldman
Marcus Joseph Goldman, son of Jason and Amber Goldman, will be called to the Torah as a Bar Mitzvah on March 5, 2022. Marcus lives with his parents, older brother Brandon, younger sister Bella, and beloved beagle Lola. He's a 7th grader at South Pasadena Middle School, a soccer player for AYSO's Extra Team and enjoys attending L.A. Galaxy games.
Marcus has a great love for nature, animals and music. He finds peace and beauty in nature, preferring stones and minerals in their natural state as opposed to polished products, has developed special bonds with many pets and animals over the years and can be found whistling or humming as he goes about his day. Marcus is a wonderful singer and knows the lyrics to almost every jazz standard, his favorite crooners being Nat King Cole and Frank Sinatra.
Marcus is a kind and empathetic person who values connection, honesty, justice and fairness. He is willing to speak up for and stand by others in unity, and is an exemplary human being.
Sam Bruck
Sam Bruck, daughter of Anna and Rob Bruck, sister to Jessica, Andrew and Zoe, will be called to the torah as a Bat Mitzvah on March 26th. Sam is an 8th grader at Rosemont Middle School in La Crescenta, a TA at PJTC religious school and a First Class Scout. Known to her family as “Moose” she is famous both for her biting sense of humor and edgy sense of fashion and style. With her adventurous spirit, Sam is always up for trying something new, but is also quick to move on to try out the next thing in life- never content to stay in one place for too long.
