Who Would You Like To Recognize, and Why?

Tis the season of gratitude! Your fellow PJTC members wish to recognize:

• Sisterhood & Men's Club members who assisted with food preparation, serving on the buffet or Sisterhood's/Men's Club membership table at the Community Havdalah and BBQ event.  These volunteers were instrumental in insuring that approximately 150 members of our synagogue family were warmly welcomed and well fed.  Sisterhood: Karen Brown, Michele Browning, Nancy Carlton, Jane Hirschkowitz, Stephanie Ivler, Andrea Kelly, Andrea Krimko, Barbara Levinson, Andrea Mark, Laly Martinez, Stacy Miller, Ariella Miranda, Jan Pais, Leticia Reyes, Aty Rotter.  Men's Club: Jack Singer, Lou Friedman, Jon Weiz, Josh Pais, Erich Schlecht, Stu Miller, Ira Blitz.
• Our PJTC office volunteers, who we will to welcome back for the first time since the pandemic began! Thanks to Madie Schleimer, Ruth Kaye, Andrea Kelly, Sue Hogan, Natalia Slusky, Karen Gross for answering the phones, helping out with mailings, and being critical in implementing our new name tags for all PJTC members.
• Rabbi Jason Mann for his amazing dedication to PJTC by teaching weekly Torah classes, for meeting one-on-on to people who are interested in learning more about Judaism, and by inspiring us by participating in the small group discussions.
• Sofia, Erin & Jason Manacker for your help with the PJTC name tag project.
• Judy Callahan for the outstanding, educational social Halls
• Peter Braun for helping to educate the community about Israel
• Rabbi John Carrier - for his hard work as rabbi and his kindness to and acceptance of everyone.
• Cantor Ruth Berman Harris - for the beautiful music and holding everything together.
• Carey McIntosh - for always making time to reply to my emails and answer my questions.
• Michele Browning - for her kindness and encouragement.
• Beryl Strauss - for being the first person to welcome me to PJTC and for providing me with all the info I needed to feel like a real part of the temple.
