Men's Club: November

Hello PJTC,

Fall is in full swing and so are Men’s Club activities and programs. Mark your calendars and RSVP for our annual Veterans Day event honoring our local Jewish veterans (of all countries). We will be treating our Veterans to come in person to a complimentary Bagel Brunch (yes we are IN-PERSON and virtual) along with another phenomenal program. Did you know that 2021 is the 100th anniversary of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier? Our speaker, Ethan Morse, is a former Tomb Guard, an active member of our military and has co-produced and directed award winning documentary and a docu-series about the training, dedication and honor of the Tomb Guard. You can find our Veterans Day event flyer elsewhere in the Flame. If you can join us in person you’ll see a Marine color guard present the Colors and patriotic music performed by our own Melissa Levy accompanied by Sarah and Jon Weisz. Please consider remembering a special veteran in your life with a tribute. To attend in person or virtually, follow this link: https://givingtools.com/give/389/40

Our annual football pool is in full swing and we’ve had a lot of winners so far. Congratulations to David Lorin, Ellen Pais, Jan Pais, Stu Miller, Kevin Bourland, Helen Rotenberg, Neil Brown and yours truly. There’s still time to join the fun, support our youth programs and even cash in! https://givingtools.com/give/389/40

Keep an eye out for announcements and join in on the fun in the upcoming PJTC New Member Havdallah/Barbecue. See your favorite Men’s Club members at the helm of the new barbecue and grills while we feast on Kosher hamburgers, hotdogs and vegi-burgers, co-sponsored by Men’s Club, Sisterhood, USCJ and PJTC.

December will see our return to co-hosting the PJTC Social Hall featuring a Covid-19 update (with some very renown experts). We’re also planning separate Men’s and Women’s health programs. Broad-based programming is what we’re about, so join in (or better yet join us).  Follow this link to tune in and sign on to another fantastic fall: https://givingtools.com/give/389/40

Shalom, Fred
