Board Report: March 2021

The Annual PJTC Congregational Meeting was held on February 22.

The meeting featured senior staff presenting reports on the status of the temple and a review of the past year. Attendees unanimously approved the following people for the 2021-2023 Board of Directors: President: Stacey Sharp; VP Management: Michele Masjedi; VP Programs: Tammy Silver; VP Planning: Andrea Mark; Treasurer: Joseph Johnson; Secretary: Joseph Widman; Past President: Geoff DeBoskey; Past President: Matt Ober; At Large Members Meredith Rose, Jesse Duker, Richard Rosenbaum, Sue Hogan and Nancy Goldstein; Sisterhood President: Nancy Carlton; Men’s Club President: Fred Rotenberg. The new board will begin their terms on April 1.

Following the Congregational Meeting, the Board of Directors met and approved the contract with DPT Construction to provide architectural and engineering services for the main kitchen remodel. The nearly $30,000 contract will be paid for by Sisterhood.

The board also learned of some maintenance projects, including the Wohlmann Hall roof, that need to be completed in the near future. Facilities Committee Chairman Mike Kronsburg will be bringing forth bids for the board to review.

In addition, the board approved expanding the Oral History Fund to include educational programming for future activities and heard an update on the Strategic Plan.
