- register your children for Junior. Congregation
- donate to PJTC's Annual Appeal/pledge to become a Temple Guardian
- order a Book of Remembrance and/or Memorial Plaque (if completed prior to 9/7)
- reserve a lulav & etrog for sukkot (if completed prior to 9/7)

If you need assistance with registration or have financial constraints, please call the office at (626)-798-1161 and we will be happy to assist you. We kindly ask that all members and guests register by September 1. Those who register after September 7 should bring their confirmation email with them to services just to ensure we can assist you upon entry and that you have a name tag (which serves as your ticket).

MEMBERS: Please LOGIN before filling out this form if you wish to bill to your account/pay by check or ACH. In order to LOGIN - look at the top right corner of your screen.  You will see a small LOGIN button with an arrow.  Fill in your email address and password.  If you do not know your password, you can click "change password" and create a new one.

High Holy Day Registration
For High Holy Days 2023/5784, PJTC will provide links for our services and programs sent to the email address connected with this registration form. If for any reason you are unable to attend in person, you will have access via Zoom and streaming options.
For security purposes, we need full names for each member of your group.
PJTC MEMBERSHIP
PJTC would love to provide you with the gift of first year membership, which includes free High Holiday general seating tickets for all members of your household. All members are assessed a security fee ($100/single and $200/family) to help ensure the safety of our community, and new members are encouraged but not required to make an additional donation that feels right for them (suggested $125/single and $250/family). But the purpose of a gift membership is to try us out, so we do not require any dues your first fiscal year--if you join before or during the High Holidays to enjoy the benefits of free tickets, that means free dues through June 30.  If you are interested in membership, contact Executive Director Melissa Levy, Melissa@pjtc.net

HIGH HOLY VOLUNTEERING

If ordered after 9/1, plaques may not be ready for Yom Kippur this year, but will be installed as soon as we receive them from our supplier.
MEMORIAL PLAQUE ORDER
When a loved one passes, we keep their memories alive not only in our hearts, but with a permanent commemoration in the form of a bronze plaque, next to the entrance to Galpert Sanctuary.  They are lit up during the week of your loved one’s Yahrzeit (the anniversary of their passing) and on Yom Kippur.

Cost is $500 for each plaque

During the Main Services (Rosh Hashanah & Yom Kippur)
You have many options for your children at PJTC!
  • PreK-7th grade may attend Junior Congregation with a reservation on Erev Rosh Hashanah, Rosh Hashanah Day 1, Erev Yom Kippur, and Yom Kippur morning. Your children can look forward to games, education, singing, and playing (FREE for PJTC members, $36 suggested donation per service for non-members). Junior Congregation is run by our religious school teachers. Adults should bring their children to the main service until Junior Congregation is announced from the bimah. There will be a second announcement from the bimah when Junior Congregation is finished as your children are being brought back to the service to your seats. Approximate timing will be listed in your confirmation email.
  • Prayground - our outdoor, family-friendly play area where children can play on our play structure while parents/guardians may follow along in the service with our livestream--stop by any time during services!
  • The Quiet Room - indoor, air conditioned environment for families with very young children who need a break for nursing or quiet time-- adults are able to watch services from the tv provided.
  • Children are welcome at all times in the main service as long as their adult is with them.

Family Programming
We also encourage you to join us for a Rosh Hashanah Family Service on Sunday September 17 right before Tashlich offsite (location TBD), a Yom Kippur Family Service at 4pm at PJTC, a Singalong Shabbat in the PJTC Sukkah on Saturday morning October 1 at 10AM, and a DJ'd Simchat Torah Party with food and dancing Sunday Morning October 8.  We also have monthly Singalong Shabbat programming for families with children ages 0-7, and other family-friendly events throughout the year.

ANNUAL APPEAL - LEADING WITH GRATITUDE

We are so glad you are part of the PJTC family.

Less than 40% of PJTC's revenue comes from membership dues. Fundraising is therefore essential. Please contribute to our Annual Appeal. Only through this additional giving can we continue to function as a vital synagogue community, welcoming to all.

Every gift- no matter the amount- is needed, appreciated, and will be put to the very best use. If you are feeling blessed and able, consider joining our Guardians program (those who pledge $1000 or more over and above their dues).

Thank you so very much for your kind consideration.
