Support for Our Community

Although we may not be physically together, we remain together and strong as a community. Our team has been working hard to ensure we stay in touch and continue to support each other.

Here are some resources we have gathered for you:

  • If you are feeling sick, please check in with your physician. The Center for Disease Control website has a lot of helpful information to guide you through checking symptoms, home care, cleaning and disinfecting your home, and altering behavior to reduce your risk of contracting and spreading COVID-19.
  • If you are just feeling like you need to speak with someone, please give our team a call at (626) 798-1161. Anyone at PJTC would be happy to hear from you and talk. Not sure who to call? You can start with: Executive Director Beryl Strauss at extension 105 or Rabbi John Carrier at extension 102.
  • Rabbi John Carrier is hosting a Live "Type In" Show accessible Thursdays at 3:00pm on Facebook, YouTube and Twitch (click these links to join on any of these platforms). He will come prepared with ideas and answers...ask him anything, come to say "Hi!", or just listen in. He looks forward to visiting with you. Please check our Events Calendar for any schedule changes.
  • Shabbat Siddurim and Chumashim are available for loan and home delivery (we will leave it at your front door). If you would like to take us up on this offer, please click here. Should you have any questions or special requests, please click to email Theresa Brekan.
  • MAC has secured volunteers to shop for necessities for congregants that are home-bound or at heightened risk from COVID-19. If you would like assistance, please email Claire Gorfinkel at claire@pjtc.net.
