Judaism in the Home March

Thank you for your interest! After filling out this form, you will receive a confirmation email containing further information. Should you have any questions, please reach out to rabbiaimee@pjtc.net or melissa@pjtc.net.

This month's Jewish value is Zachor, or memory. This connects with the celebration of Passover at the end of the month, when we remember and retell the story of our people from slavery to freedom. This month is all about giving you the tools, tips, and tricks needed for a positive Passover experience from home. Many thanks to Men's Club and Sisterhood for their sponsorship of several of the tools provided!
Please let us know for which aspects of this month's initiative you plan to participate.
This month's supply kit includes a free box of matzah courtesy of PJTC Men's Club, matzah ball mix, and kosher for Passover grape juice. Gluten-free options available at pick up. Courtesy of PJTC Sisterhood, we'll supply you with the items needed for bedikat hametz (the fun search for breadcrumbs before the holiday)-and later we'll send you a video how-to. You'll receive origami paper to make jumping frogs for your seder table, as well as a template for creating your own seder placemats that help participants follow along with what's happening. You'll also receive a fun packet of Passover tips and stories from fellow congregants.

For those who create a seder place mat (one of the at-home art projects in the Judaism at Home kit), you can also drop off your project to be laminated on 3/21 and pick it up 3/24-3/26.)

Appropriate for all ages!
